Chasiv Yar
Chasiv Yar (Ukrainian: Ча́сів Яр, pronounced [ˈt͡ʃɑ.s⁽ʲ⁾iu̯ jɑr], lit. ‘quiet ravine’; Russian: Часов Яр, romanized: Chasov Yar) is a city in Bakhmut Raion, Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine. In January 2022, it had a population of 12,250. It is located 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) west of Bakhmut.
