Capture of Kabbaldurga
Hyder Ali led a military campaign on behalf of the Mysore Sultanate with the objective of expanding his kingdom.The expedition was directed against Kabbaldurga, located in the Ramanagara district of Karnataka. The fort was under the control of Maratha commander Murari Rao, who also commanded Gooty. Hyder Ali led an attack with the intention of capturing Kabbaldurga.
