Callimachus (polemarch)

Callimachus /kəˈlɪməkəs/ (Greek: Καλλίμαχος Kallímakhos) was the Athenian polemarch at the Battle of Marathon, which took place during 490 BC. According to Herodotus he was from the Attica deme of Afidnes.
