Andy Slaughter

Andrew Francis Slaughter (born 29 September 1960) is a British Labour Party politician serving as Member of Parliament (MP) for Hammersmith, previously Ealing, Acton and Shepherd's Bush, since 2005. Prior to his election to Parliament, he had served as Leader of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham Council. On 15 November 2023 Slaughter voted for an SNP amendment to the King's Speech, demanding an immediate Ceasefire in Gaza, contrary to the Labour Party's official stance to support HM Government line on the 2023 Israel-Hamas conflict. He was sacked by Sir Keir Starmer from his position as Shadow Solicitor General.
