Alexandre Boreau

Alexandre Boreau (March 15, 1803 – May 5, 1875) was a French pharmacist and botanist. He is the binomial authority of plants such as Polygonum arenastrum and Pulmonaria longifolia. The standard author abbreviation Boreau is used to indicate this person as the author when citing a botanical name.
