Alexander Polovtsov

Alexander Alexandrovich Polovtsov (Russian: Александр Александрович Половцов; 1832–1909) was a Russian Imperial statesman, historian and patron; he was also known as the founder of the Russian Imperial Historian Society (it was founded in 1866 and dissolved in 1917).
