Acetabulum
The acetabulum (/ˌæsɪˈtæbjələm/ or acetable; pl.: acetabula) also called the cotyloid cavity, is a concave surface of the pelvis. The head of the femur meets with the pelvis at the acetabulum, forming the hip joint.
