2024 State of the Union Address
The 2024 State of the Union Address is scheduled to be given by the 46th president of the United States, Joe Biden, on Thursday, March 7, 2024, to the 118th Congress. On January 6, House Speaker Mike Johnson formally invited Biden to address the joint session of Congress. It is planned to take place two days after Super Tuesday. The speech is expected to provide Biden a chance to address issues such as the economy, democracy, the United States–Mexico border crisis, the war between Ukraine and Russia, and the war between Israel and Hamas.

Biden's third State of the Union will be his fourth speech to a joint session of Congress. Seated behind the president will be Vice President Kamala Harris and House Speaker Mike Johnson. Johnson will be presiding over the joint session, while Harris will be serving in her capacity as the president of the Senate.
