The 2023 K League 2, also known as the Hana 1Q K League 2 for sponsorship reasons, was the 11th season of the K League 2, the second-highest division in South Korean football league system. It had 39 matchdays and teams played each other three times (36 matches).

Champions of the previous year Gwangju FC were promoted to the K League 1.
The fourth and fifth-placed teams qualified for the first round of the promotion play-offs, and the winners between them played third-placed team in the second round. The winners of the second round and runners-up met the tenth and eleventh-placed teams of the K League 1, respectively, in the final round to compete for K League 1 spots.
