3rd Generation
- Drug of choice for serious infections due to:
- Klebsiella
- Enterobacter
- Proteus
- Haemophilus
- Gonorrhea
- Lyme Disease
- Meningitis (+ vanc and ampicillin)
- Pseudomonas meningitis (+ AG)
4th Generation
- Resistant, nosocomial infections
