I am a Phd student in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at North Carolina. I am currently a research assistant on the NSF funded project “PGRP-Identification of translational hormone-response gene networks and cis-regulatory elements”. I received my B.S. in Communication Engineering from Beijing University of Post Technology, Beijing, China. My research focuses on exploring genetic regulatory mechanisms and identifying hierarchical relationships in plants based on transcriptional and translational data. Specifically, my research concentrates on revealing hormone-mediated mechanisms at the genomic level in two plants, Arabidopsis thaliana and tomato seedlings. Additionally, I am interested in probabilistic modeling, graph theory, machine learning, and control theory.
