Got my first computer in 1980 when my dad soldered together a ZX-80 kit. Coding in various forms ever since. Got my degree as an Aeronautical engineer in -98 and have been working as such in both coding and non-coding task since then. Currently working on RTCA-DO-178B (DAL A) stuff, so I'm constantly being fed new ways to nitpick other peoples code :-)
