Currently I m a member of an agile team that is tasked with the creation and maintenance of a website built to help hospitals run more efficiently. I have been most involved in the portion of the application that allows for material managers to search for and view contract information, descriptions, and prices of medical supplies and services that are available from various vendors. Product information is extracted from several sources including databases, excel files, and text files.

For fun I manage a coder dojo for kids ages 8-14. Mainly teaching them scratch, intro to python and raspberry pi. I am also building an online community or outdoor enthusiasts related to camping, canoeing, hiking and outdoor cooking.
