I'm currently trying to setup a server repository for team development and host it in my own windows 10 ethernet connected computer. I'm using TortoiseSVN to manage the repository and VisualSVN to set up the server. Locally and from my own LAN (using my router), I can access and commit to the repository without issue. The problem is that my teammates can't access the repository from their homes (to check that, I'm sharing the URL on VisualSVN and asking them to enter it on their browser just to check if they have any connection, but they can't even load the website. I don't know If I misunderstood the use of VisualSVN, or how to set up the server, but I don't manage to set up. I have a feeling that it has something to do with DNS settings, but I don't know how to work with that more than changing the DNS number to google one.
Feel free to ELIF and assume I don't know anything about this, just in case I don't have a key concept understood.
I tried port forwarding on my router, changing my DNS to 8.8.8.8. Chaning the repository address to my public IP and port or to my FQDN. No use, nothing seems to work.
