I'm using a Visual Studio Installer Project to install a .NET Framework application. It seems that in some cases, the [ApplicationName].exe.config file (i.e. App.config) does not get updated when installing a new version. If you uninstall and re-install, the correct file is installed, so I know it's included in the installer. Is this a bug, or is there some setting which affects whether this file is updated or not?
