I have a plant that is popping up everywhere in my garden and lawn, and I'm not sure if it is a weed. It looks like a clover but smaller(about half a feet) and has yellow flowers. It is in North Carolina, United States.
I have a fescue lawn that is about 1.5 acres (hand picking weeds is not an option). As spring began, these weeds (see pictures below) have started growing in the fescue. My guess is that the tall thin bamboo looking weeds are crabgrass? No idea what…
This plant (or different plants?) has started to spread across my lawn. What is it and how can I get rid of it without harming the grass? If it is relevant, I live in northern Mississippi.
Does anyone know if killing weeds mechanically using a rotary tool like a drill work? For example, the 'Weed Spinner': https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ld96e0mOrs4
How come they aren't so widely used and pesticides are still the preferred choice?
I put down weed barrier, then a layer of enough gravel to hide the weed barrier. The weeds are growing through anyway.
I am hesitant to apply week killer, as we may want to change the land use to agriculture in the future.

It started growing in the spring. It has grown 2-3 meters and recently (August) produced small yellow flowers.
I checked the suggested similar questions but did not see the same plant in any of them.

There is a narrow leaved, red weed spreading across my neighbour's lawn. Can anyone help identify it, please?
It looks like it may spread underground sometimes, as clumps of it are popping up across his lawn.
He says he uses regular lawn…
This kind of flower is everywhere in my garden.
First of all I would like to know what is it. If I dig it up, it usually has a bulb shape root.
It is literally everywhere in my garden. Is there any easy and eco-friendly way to remove them?
Trying to identify this weed, looks like it might be family of nightshade but not sure. Located in Chicago with Tall Fescue. Any thoughts? Thank you :)
We live in Ohio surrounded by some woods. Almost all the underbrush is made up of this plant. It can grow into a small tree and is very easy to break by hand. I tried to look it up on Ohio's invasive plant list, but I could not find a match. What is…
What is this plant? It's growing sparsely (I've flagged around 30-40 of them over ~5 acres) throughout my back yard in northern Ohio.
It is very sharp and has a pretty deep/vertical root system. It's mostly brown right now, but I did find a few that…
We are located in southern Ontario. I found these seeds in a row (flat sides against each other) in my garden. There is a lot together, so I'm guessing a large pod (its spring so maybe it has degraded and left the seeds behind). They are roundish,…
