Used to water the garden

Sprinkler systems are used to irrigate a garden. There are wide range of different types, including permanent "pop-up" sprinklers, and temporary "move it around" sprinklers. They can be switched on or off manually, or on a timer. A proper permanent system should also have weather sensors to avoid sprinkling during the rain or during freezing temperatures.

Sprinklers can be low level drip-systems, or longer distance high volume spray systems.

Sprinkler systems can also be used to apply fertilizer with the irrigation water.
