Can I lay geotextile sheeting beneath new grass?
We have an area of ground that was a thick mix of overgrown weeds and plants. We would like to turf this area. We have turned over the soil and taken out some of the roots but there are still a lot of weed roots in the area.

New sod and upcoming freeze
2 days ago, I put down 2 pallets of centipede sod in Lexington SC. Have watered each day. Now we have two nights of below freezing temps coming up - mid-20s F. Should I attempt to cover the grass or just let it be? Thanks.
