How to maximize shelf-life of freeze-dried food beyond 25 years? How far can this be exceeded?
Many manufacturers will sell and advertise emergency preparedness food packs to still taste "great" 25-30 years into the future (or at least maintain a consistent taste over this period).
For instance, they will cook eggs, lasagna or vegetables…

I have some cranberry juice that developed some dark spots under the lid, is it still considered safe to drink?
My mom had some cranberry juice that says best if used in 2018, and was wondering if it will do anything very bad to me, since it was sealed by a reputable manufacturer for this long, and never opened.

Searching in google for yellow bacon fat returns nothing
I'm assuming it's fat, but have never seen a large yellow lump of it on any bacon I have had in the past.
