is my bacon cooked?
I cut up 1 lb of bacon and cook it for 30 min, at the 10 min mark I add sausage and at 20 mins some vegetables, it looks soggy just wondering if it is cooked?

Alkaline tasting bacon - is it safe?
I have some old bacon that has developed alkaline tasting crystals. Is it safe? It's been kept in the fridge, and it's perhaps 2 or 3 weeks old.

What does "cooking bacon" mean?
Does that mean the bacon is already cooked? (you can eat directly from the package)
Or do I still need to cook the bacon?
I bought a bacon that has no instructions on the package, but it also mentioned that it needs to be stored on cold temperature
