I accidentally put aluminum foil in my microwave, how can I clean the scorch marks?

What is the purpose of wrapping fish with aluminum foil?
I was wondering what would be the difference if we wrap or don't wrap the fish with aluminum foil when baking. And also covering it with salt - how much of a difference would it make?

Aluminum foil changed color after wrapping cooked corn
I cooked some corn in boiling water today, and immediately wrapped it in aluminum foil after taking out of water. 5 mins later, I found out the colour of the foil changed, I'm not sure whether the corn is edible... please help

If I wrap something in aluminum foil and place it inside a non-stick skillet pan while cooking something is that something that could e.g. ruin the pan or ruin the food?
